So, today the new Star Trek movie came out.

I bough it, obviously.

Afterwords, I did't realize that I had actually been wearing my Trek shirt today. (It's just blue with the Starfleet insignia), and went to the hospital to visit Mom against my will. In the elevator, there was a really stern looking old man.

He looked at me, I smiled politely. He smiled back, then raised his hand, doing the sign, and said "Live long and prosper." I grinned from ear to ear, doing it back to him, and we animatedly started talking about Star Trek.

He asked if I had seen the new movie, I replied "Yes," and informed him that I had just picked up a copy before arriving at the hospital.

His jaw dropped,"it came out tody?" he asked, clearly excited by the news. I nodded. He said he'dp pick up a copy after work, and thn I had to get out of the elevator, since I arrived at my floor.
